I think you can add fear to that. No one wants to be seen as someone who was opposed to the events that happened (at least in my social media circles). The best thing is to just not even talk about it and let it just disappear like this covid bullshit.
I've been there a few times. My first impression was the streets were full of trash, it was dirty loud and packed and not a place I'd ever want to be in for more than a brief vacation. Same with Miami. I bet I'd say the same as all these other cities I haven't been to that have been attacked this past week.
In a way that’s what the movement is about. It wants everyone to be united but first you need to accept what they are saying without question.
