Yeah, masks make no difference in bacterial transmission either -- as per the CDC's own Guideline for Prevention of Surgical Site Infection.

I wouldn't ask any medical worker anything about basic biomedical science with exception of, perhaps, anatomy.
By and large, they don't know how it's done, they don't have cross-disciplinary knowledge or publication experience -- and yet their hubris is staggering.

That being said, some do their due diligence. Imo, it's not about who makes a statement, but about their thought process.

Why do these most vile people always have the fish mouth?!

Speaking of trees, I've just learned they are racist (yeah, it's hard to follow these days), so chopping them all is probably a good thing?

You cannot make a direct comparison of the dose and blood concentration.
Metabolism matters, so one has to look at the blood level of fentanyl of the people who are know to have died from it.

People who died from fentanyl overdose had readings from 0.75 ng/mL to an astounding 113 ng/mL. The average death dose was 9.96 ng/mL.

https://www.sgtreport.com/2020/07/what-is-a-fatal-dose-of-fentanyl/.

So yeah, it's quite likely that Saint George OD'd on fentanyl alone.

There's a "retreat" at NCATS (NIH institute) happening right now.
Part of the retreat is this "game" where... like avatars are walking on a boat.
Your tax money right there.

I can only hope there would be a small army of patriot avatars there.

Forget TV -- I keep wondering if a doctor or a nurse treating me is a diversity hire...
Can't shake it off, it's now the first thought that pops into my head whenever I interact with a new specialist that happens to be black.

Because Donald J Trump is not a god, and he clearly can make mistakes.
And because I have sufficient chemical, biological, statistical, and data science training to read and comprehend scientific literature and analyze the data myself.
Also Trump did not tell people to take the vaccine.

Exactly.
Every mechanistic study shows that masks do indeed substantially reduce the transmission of particles that are much smaller than the pores in the mask (including actual viruses).

The problem is, every single clinical trial shows that masks do exactly diddly squat in terms of actual reduction of viral transmission.

My hypothesis is that because the minimal infection volume is so tiny (1-5 microns), even if a mask is 99% efficient mechanistically (and none of them are), the person is still going to be infected if they are in the proximity.

I appreciate the insight, and I am familiar with laminated glass.
The wiki link has the picture of what that laminated glass looks like when broken - and this is nothing like what is happening to the windows in the video.

Oh, and plastic windows.
FFS. It's not plexiglass, it's just acrylic plastic.
I've never seen plastic windows used anywhere in construction.

Also, why would there be this lone barricade in that specific spot all the while the "protestors" were allowed to roam the Capitol freely?

Holy shit.

  1. Nobody ducks, nobody runs away. They just crouch a little.
Call me crazy, but I'd fuck right off if I heard a gunshot nearby.
  2. The gunman was right there in front of Babbitt for full 15 seconds.
  3. There's almost no blood.
  4. Everyone at the scene is doing fuck all to help an allegedly shot Babbitt.
    They fumble around and yell.
  5. At 6:06 the gun is definitively not pointing at Babbit's chest or neck areas.

Just about every major thing in the past year or so did that to me.
I cannot help but wonder how many people who have nothing to lose and have the training feel the same way right now.
