Regarding that guy's name, to quote Scott Adams, "the simulation is winking at us."

Speaking of dogs, I'd just like to say hi, my (alphabetical) successor.

Ah, thanks, I just finished editing my comment before seeing yours because I found them in the same README, although my link goes to the link that will expire eventually, so good thing for your upload.

Edit: Found them, located in the README file found here.

Does anyone have a list of the column names/headers for the "<COUNTY> FVE 20201109.txt" files? I am seeing all this data and it's easy to identify things like first and last name, date of birth, etc., but there are a lot of columns that I don't know what they mean. I found my own info in one of the files to try to compare, but even so I can't tell what some of the values would be referring to. Is this information found anywhere?

When I went to vote today (Pittsburgh, PA), the poll workers asked for my name and then never asked to see any ID (e.g., driver's license). They just took my word for it that I am who I say I am. Nothing else seemed obviously off, but that just seems like it's opening up the doors to voter fraud.

Oh, I already know they're voting, but better safe than sorry. I celebrate Thanksgiving in Martinsburg every year (and will be this year as well), so I'll be sure to ask my relatives all about what it was like for them on this day.

I can't believe he's in small town Martinsburg, PA! Half the crowd is probably related to me, I have a ton of family in Martinsburg where my mother grew up (and I grew up in a neighboring town). I'm so jealous of my aunts and uncles and cousins who are currently attending this rally, but excited that this is happening in an area I'm so familiar with!

Edit: So on RSBN's broadcast I literally just saw several of my cousins walking out of the Trump rally, texted them right away to say how jealous I am.

Trump absolutely killed it in this debate tonight. I was beaming. Biden was drowning out there. Awesome job from our POTUS.

2
idog 2 points ago +2 / -0

Biden keeps saying "Trump doesn't have a plan" (ridiculous) and then he says things like "people are learning to die" (LOL?) and "I'll shut down the virus." Um, BE SPECIFIC then. He never gives a specific plan, just claims Trump doesn't have one... Amazing. I'm sure the moderator will push him to be more specific... Anyyyyy minute now...

Ah, interesting that it's there at all, even behind the CSS... That's easier than what I did to achieve a downvote (which I will remove of course, but just wanted to see if my idea would work).

12
idog 12 points ago +12 / -0

Whoa, holy moly you're right. There aren't even downvote buttons on posts, so something strange is going on...

Edit: Okay, I figured out how you can add a downvote, but not sure why someone did that... If any of the devs see this I can give you details on what I did, if you're looking to fix it (but you might already be aware of this).

The fact that I live only a half-hour drive away from where this is happening but don't have a car to get there is just... Really sad. It would've been refreshing to meet other patriots after being surrounded in a sea of Biden supporters in the heart of Pittsburgh. Looking forward to the livestream as always, though.

President Trump absolutely killed it at that town hall from start to finish. Considering it was apparently pre-taped, I'm almost surprised ABC didn't edit it since it ended up making Trump look really good. Granted, maybe they're counting on the ability to edit Biden's town hall to try to make him look better (and they hope that's enough to "outdo" Trump's performance at last night's town hall), but that's going to be really tough for the editors to pull off...

Since my feed is a lot of people from my hometown and from my family, which is strongly conservative, my feed is pretty full of pro-Trump stuff. That being said, I think you may be onto something as I mentioned in my other comment here.

One working theory I have is that because I share almost no info on facebook, and because I only click on links to fake news articles that people share if I want to debunk the claim from the headline, facebook's algorithm has labeled me a liberal. Since almost any real news people share on my feed is something I've already seen here on TD, I don't need to open those links, hence I evidently have very few "conservative points" in their database.

Actually, facebook lets you view what its advertising algorithms assume about you, and I noticed it thinks I'm a different race than what I am, and also a liberal even though my own info that I put on my profile says "Republican." I feel a bit of a victory that facebook has me so wildly mislabeled after being on that platform for twelve years; all the anti-tracking plugins I use must be working. Granted, I know it would be more ideal to just delete facebook (lot of friends using that as primary communication though)...

Anyway, someone that facebook does have labeled as a conservative can check if they're getting such a notification, because if they are, then my hypothesis is debunked.

Although they did put a small image below the search bar about it.. That being said, I've been using DuckDuckGo for years now and only went to the Google homepage to verify this post, although I now remember that this is what they've been doing for years.

How does it not tire the MSM out to have to have to spin every accomplishment of POTUS into something negative? I can't believe there are still people who exist who take the mainstream media seriously.

idog 9 points ago +9 / -0

LOL just imagine if Biden really was supposed to have said such an absurd (albeit technically true) statement as, "COVID has taken more lives this year than all of the COVID-19 deaths in the last 100 years" (which is what was shown on the teleprompter in this video).

5
idog 5 points ago +5 / -0

YES, YES, YES, this unlocks a whole new dimension for how our President can make the media's heads explode. I am super ready for this new era of Trump Tweets.

2
idog 2 points ago +2 / -0

I love, love, love the amount of energy bursting forth in this video. I've only been able to vote since the 2012 election and never paid much attention to political events until 2016, but can anyone confirm if there was ever a campaign as full of hype as our President's campaigns? Seriously, Joe Biden and his supporters can never bring energy like this. Even people voting for Biden are pretty much just running on "well, he isn't Trump..." That's not much to rally behind... I bet most of those people don't even know why they don't like Trump except vague accusations by the media that they've never bothered looking into beyond a headline or talking point.

Best video downloader IMO: youtube-dl

It works on many, many websites, not just youtube, so don't let the name fool you. It's a command line tool, but probably the most powerful option and not hard to learn to use.
