fair enough, that's why I said it depends on what polls you are looking at.
Even still, The approval rating from the most recent Rasmussen poll is not at all a high of his entire presidency, so I don't know what OP is talking about
idk man most of the polls I've seen seem to show support going down. I mean it all comes down to which polls you want to believe, but it seems like Rasmussen is the only poll that came out since the 6th where his approval isn't down in the 30s. And there have been like 3 or 4 others with the approval hovering around 38 or 39. Which makes me think Rasmussen is an outlier.
As far as I know, democracy is where regular citizens are involved in the political process. It means "rule by the people". The extreme version of this is a direct democracy, where citizens vote on literally every issue themselves, but the US is clearly some form of a democracy, even if it is also a republic. Voting is a democratic process.
I also never understood the wolf/sheep metaphor. In real life politics, how do you know who the sheep are and who the wolves are? What if there are two sheep and one wolf, and due to extra power, the one wolf gets to decide what's for dinner?
I guess it's best that there is nobody in attendance. If he had a crowd we would point out the covid hypocrisy lol
