States have deadlines that have already passed for deciding who is on the ballot, so Biden is there whether he drops out or not. Some states have laws where the electoral college electors have to vote along with who is on the ballot, but many states don't. You'll also have electors who will break the law and vote for whoever the Dems tell them to. All these will go to court and the Democrats would eventually lose, but it will all be very confusing and they'll say Trump was put in place by his 'packed supreme court'.

Oregon and a few other states have websites where, if you know a person's name and birth date, you can print out a mail in ballot for that person. When you do it, it says it invalidates any earlier votes you may have cast. This is purported to be a script that goes through a list of Oregon voters and gets ballots for them, thus cancelling any vote they may have cast.

All these vote by mail stats looking bad for the Democrats may be misleading. Their voters have been inundated with stories about how Donald Trump is stealing mail boxes and is dismantling the post office. A number of them who are expected to vote by mail are going to vote in person.
