CO2 is one of the least harmful air pollutants. It's a joke that we are even considering it to be bad. There are plenty of Air Pollutants that need foreign regulation. CO2 is like opening the door to regulations on populations and livestock due to their respiration rates.
Carbon from CO2 isn't even on the EPA's list of HAPs or VOCs they want to included it as a regulated air pollutant so that they have a massive spike in power and influence. US air quality it literally better than it's been in decades and still improving. CO2 regulations and Paris accord only help China and weaken the US.
Demanding Tariffs on goods produced without air regulations to equal the cost of compliance with the Clean Air Act would be a great start to encourage other countries to comply.
