Is Trump playing 4d chess? I would guess yes. Is he perfect at it? No. Is he pretty good? Definitely yes. Was his response to Covid Wuhan appropriate? That is a more complex answer. If Covid Wuhan were truly a threat then Donald Trump was absolutely excellent. His decision making has already saved many lives. The fact that Covid Wuhan is not the monster the press is trying to make it makes the response a bit over the top. But if a true pandemic were to arise I would feel good about Trump being at the helm.
