Hey pedes! I’m 30 years old and my mother and I are takig our very first mother daughter trip together. We are STOKED! My husband is not... not because he doesn’t 💯 support what we are doing but because he is scared we are going alone, (he is staying home with our 3 year old) We are flying, and the airlines don’t allow pepper spray even in check-in luggage. I tried to have some shipped directly to the hotel via Amazon prime a few days ago, but Amazon apparently has restrictions on certain items being shipped to businesses.
My only plan is to try and find some when we get to DC... but we don’t land until 8pm on the 5th. I have no clue how easy finding it in DC will be, or how dangerous (if at all) just traveling to find some is alone etc.
Neither my mother or I have been to DC before so I don’t know what to expect or the area or how easy it will be finding pepper spray. Any suggestions, advice, or info for me as far as that goes? I get why he’s nervous and to be honest I am too a little. But THIS. IS. HAPPENING.
