One of my local pawn shops sells DVDs cheap. I've bought movies I've seen in stores with a $50-new sticker-price for $1. (I care little for Hollywood "product," my wife is the movie-watcher.)
Buying DVD/CD movies/albums is an excellent way to stick it to Big "Music" and I highly recommend it whenever possible. You are not "hurting" the "artists" by doing this, buying DVDs/CDs new mostly benefits the movie studio/record company (the "artist" gets very little of that money, the writer(s) get a bigger pie-piece.)
Member around the time of the Napster flap, when Garth Brooks decreed that record-stores that sell "used albums" should not be allowed to stock his crappy new-at-the-time album? His claim was that sales of "used albums" were cutting into his massive wealth. (The truth was: that generic album sucked just like the rest of his generic albums, and he had alienated fans with his "Chris Gaines" attempted money-grab.) As a marketing major, he should have known how economics work: a shoddy "product" over-priced at $1 will sell better than the same shoddy "product" massively over-priced at $19.99. As a wealthy Limousine Liberal "entertainer" with a fake persona he displayed typical contempt for his audience, who he knows statistically skew to the less-affluent: his focus was on profit, not "getting his music out there." The only way he cared about his music "getting out there" was at Full Retail Price.
No matter how much they insist that society pander to their whims, the smarter among them know exactly how outnumbered (and despised) they are. 3% (or less) of the worst-behaved in society can only make unreasonable demands of the other 97% for so long. Even if the LGBT Agenda people join the BLM Supremacists, that still only nets them less than 16% miscreant share to attack normal society with (counting the elderly, and infants and children still too young to start fires on their own.)
MSM propaganda is the only thing saving the SJW/Leftist/DNC/RINO alliance. Without fake "news" and Hollywood encouraging/glorifying ill-mannered feminists and rioters, the public at large would be outraged at their bad behavior. They know if media reported honestly about their misdeeds and motivations jail would be the least of their worries, they would not be safe in public among the people they so gleefully ridicule and take advantage of.

Anytime I leave the house, I am surrounded by mis-informed SJW types screeching Leftist Agenda talking-points threatening violence against anyone who disagrees with them, very hyped-up about "punching nazis" and always on the hunt for something to blow out of proportion in a round of attention-seeking cancel-"culture." I am not afraid of gay people or foreigners or people from other races/violent "religions."
However: I do have self-awareness and self-preservation instinct, so I do tend to avoid people and situations that carry a high risk of ridicule, disease or violence. I don't like dealing with rude people, nor the habitually violent. If the SJW/BLM screechers I know personally were polite fair-minded logical people, I could hang out with them. But they aren't, and I can't.

I had seen earlier videos of Kayleigh being appropriately savage with MSM shills so I knew she was not to be trifled with but even so- none of that compares with her stellar performance as Press Secretary, I can't think of anyone else who has done so well at that position. It would be difficult to be firm and polite (especially with those rude self-obsessed "reporters" all acting like pre-schoolers) but she tolerated their tantrums and unreasonable "gotcha"-question attempts and came out of it looking like a kind-hearted competent person excelling at an unenviable task in the face of intense adversity.

(I am not usually in the room when she's working, but her company does stress the rules about kids/pets/TV sound: they want the calls sounding as professional as if they were in an office or brick/mortar business.)
The LOLpart about that: when she's doing the mindless-paperwork part, she's listening to Red Pill videos from Steven Crowder, Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, RazorFist, Styxhexenhammer, our general roster of InfoWarriors. They do that already of course, the HR people (or busybodies snitching to them) have gotten people fired over social-media shitposting. No joke, not just a "news item" this actually happened locally (someone was fired over an innocuous social media post made off the clock on private user-pages, for no real reason beside the HR pyrsyn wanting to virtue-signal/abuse power.) Yet another upside to working from home, the HR people are not there to help- they are trying to get rid of people.
She's having 5 of those per week! The HR people have no one to hassle with most of the staff working offsite, so their days are hopefully numbered.
That's one of the reasons I respect our troops so much, I know I couldn't handle what they do every day. I wouldn't make it through basic training, much less serious battle-conditions. That is a level of training and physical/mental strength that to me is extremely impressive and way beyond my capabilities. <3 <3 <3

My wife has been working from home for about a year now. They just evaluated her obvious performance upgrade, and if all continues to go well she's home for good until she retires. (Just getting away from dealing with the HR/"diversity" people was worth it, not mention all the other interruptions/unreasonable demands the being-at-the-office part of the job involved.)
She says the planDEMic is the best thing that ever happened to her: it granted her the long-time dream of doing her work from home. She always said she could do her job via "telecommuting"/internet and she was right, she has done much better quality of work from home (and her employers agree.)
A friend of mine works at a restaurant, he says the restaurant next door is mobbed with business when any sort of stimulus checks roll in (that one being the sort of "upscale soul food" establishment that thrives on reaping the impulse-spending of those occasional "prosperity benefits" bestowed upon their most-likely customers.)

Most of the 30something people I experience are raving SJWs who are very boastful of the Leftist indoctrination they received in school (be that K-12ish or before dropping out of college/graduating with a degree in "gendyr studies.") They feel very superior about the "quality" of their "woke" Left-biased "education" and are very eager to display their all-encompassing grasp of world history/current affairs/Common-Core "math" superiority. Their preposterous desperately-contrarian wrong-about-everything screeching would be laughable if they weren't so dangerous to society, because these are the people agitating social unrest/inflaming racial tensions/demanding monuments be destroyed/pushing for Drag Queen Story Hour etc.
I know only a small number of 30something people personally who have their heads on straight and want to be decent Patriotic Americans, the rest are a sea of lost slacker NEETS with no respect for American Tradition or Law and Order.
