This is a direct assault on me (and everybody else in the country). I saved lots and lots of dollars in order to buy a house. I still have those dollars. But these bills will make those dollars, and therefore all the work that I did to earn them, meaningless and worthless. I could have sat on my ass for all those years and ended up in the same financial position.

Much as I like Noem, what we need a Republican party that tears up all the unconstitutional laws, and then sits on their big fat "no" votes on basically every bill that comes through and every unbalanced budget. These tech companies are already obsolete. The problem is that a lot of alternatives have been founded explicitly to offer conservatives a refuge. However they're not refuges at all, because if your job depends on people not knowing your politics (like mine) and you're found on Gab, you get excommunicated. And to be honest, joining a social media site that is 100% focused on politics doesn't sound super fun to me.
An easier hill to climb is to obsolete Google/Youtube. LBRY is nonpartisan and infinitely better than Youtube. Ditto Fastmail and Proton, so much better than Gmail. These are non-political services that can cause massive damage to the fascist tech oligarchs.
