The company I work for pulled this BLM shit. But they didn't make any of it mandatory. I decided to attend one session and after 10 minutes I dropped out of the call. It wasn't as bad as some others, but it was definitely geared towards making whites feel guilty. One of our goals for 2020 was to do what was needed to understand culture and diversity. When I had my review last month my boss asked me how I felt about it. I told him it was all a bunch of bullshit and I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know. And that was treating every single person I interact with as equal and with respect. He laughed and said he thought it was all a bunch of bullshit as well. But if I told anyone he said that he would deny it until the day he died. Haha...

No way to undo it now. In fact I would say she probably doesn't have long to live. Along with her mental problems she's also had diabetes since birth. But she's never followed the advice of her doctors and took her medication. Now she's just shy of 30 and she's going through dialysis multiple times per week because her kidneys don't work correctly anymore.
How did she get to the point she's at? Broken family. Her parents split up when she was probably 5. Her mother was/is a drug addict and alcoholic and her father didn't have much to do with her when she was younger. He has gotten more involved in her life as she's gotten older, but it's too late. The entire extended family tried very hard and did a lot for her when she was younger, but she was determined to be a rebel and go down the path she went down.
So yeah, she had a rough upbringing, but she was offered help many many times by many family members and she always turned her back on that help. There is no love lost between her and my family. I raised two great and successful kids and offered her the chance to live with us with the stipulation that she abide by my rules, which were not draconian at all. But she shit on us and I don't even care anymore. It is what it is and I don't feel any remorse about the way things are between us. I did what I could do.
This whole $15/hour shit started years ago. And that is the exact reason you now see electronic ordering boards inside fast food places as well as automated burger flippers and drink dispensers. They know the minimum wage will go up, which will force meal prices up which will drive away customers. The answer is to take less profit or automate. They'll spend $10K to put in a single ordering board, but if that eliminates two $15/hour jobs they save themselves about $50k per year. Simple math, which is hard for liberals.

100% of the teens I've seen taking puberty blockers are still fucked up. My niece decided in her early-teens she wanted to be a nephew. She started taking puberty blockers and then started on hormones some time after that. Now maybe 15 years later she is the most fucked up, miserable, worthless piece of shit you could ever want to meet. I cannot stand to be around her for more than 5 minutes.

I'm 59 and I'm ready. I've had both rotator cuffs repaired in the last 10 years, but I'm currently doing about 600 pushups per week (alternating days of course), 750 situps per week (again alternating days), run 2-3 miles per day on the treadmill and throw in some other cardio stuff / weight lifting when possible. The pushups have done incredible things for my upper body and core strength, even at my age. Another thing I throw in once in a while is heavy bag routines with Bas Rutten tapes. Learning how to punch and understanding combinations is very important. Even if just using a heavy bag you'd be surprised how much self-confidence you gain doing this.
And I'm not doing this crap because I want to live forever. I'm doing it to be always vigilant and ready for whatever may come my way.
