Or maybe older people can actually be in good health and get over things. The Queen had some really bad cold/flu a few months ago, maybe she had it. I can't remember the last time she was sick.

Masks, even the simple ones, are helpful in several ways. For instance, they hinder sneeze drops and spitting. People can carry spares and a baggie to put wet ones in. For people who can't remember not to touch their faces, the mask catches the pollution on the fingers. Again they should be changed often. I think more cheap masks and careful disposal would help in the public setting more than fancy ones.

Where's TB? It's usually top killer.

Looking at Zero Hedge's article today about how New Yorkers are still crowding, I can believe it. They really should be quarantined.

You can see he doesn't like the idea. The shutdown is hurting other countries though. Iran isn't selling oil to China as they hoped. Why isn't China buying? Maybe because their production of many things took a big hit and so did their food supply, and now they are doubly pariahs, first for the virus and second for selling defective tests and masks. Another month will be harder on them than us.

Suppose it was as deadly as ebola and the FDA--CDC was handling the response without Trump kicking them daily. And the fake news was covering it without daily briefings.

How about, we weren't prepared, Trump knew about bioweapon preparation, jumped on this epidemic to get the attention necessary to show China is a bad actor whether they actually planned this outbreak or not, and is now reorganizing us to be more self sufficient and ready to go in a planned attack? I don't think China meant for this to get loose as it did, but they did have a plan for more controlled destruction.

Send it to whitehouse.gov. There's a space somewhere for "comments" which is self-explanatory.

They were lying for years, now you understand and wish more did. You can't make it better by tensely hanging on every lying crumb of propaganda and bunching up unconsciously to kick the media people. Do something physical to loosen up is my advice, something rhythmic like digging or walking, that takes you away from the electronic world.

Think of the virus spread like a forest fire. It can jump around, die down in a spot and turn up in another based on wind and fuel. In a crowded, fuel filled area like the mega metro area around NYC, it is going to persist longer. And if those people insist on wandering around like the wind, they may start some new hot spots in the relatively untouched areas.

Sometimes, if there is no way to get better. In this country people can choose to persist longer than elsewhere. They have their own dangers too, everyone wants to get a patient off as soon as possible.

Also, that when Cuomo wasted $750 million on a solar power boondoggle, instead of buying 16,000 ventilators with the money, he dealt with the potential ventilator shortage with guidelines on who would get them. Bonus: if your leftist wants to duck the subject of healthcare, you can go back to failed green energy schemes.

Yes. It may be after the fact (of infection), but it will be very informative. Hopefully cut the hysteria and fake news.

That recent marketing ploy on paper products makes me scratch my head in the store. How can 8 equal 12? I fall back on number of rolls every time and probably most people do too.
