Jodie needs to go, and they need a better writer. Even Moffat wasn't doing it for me. I understand the appeal is to be cheesy and comfy television, but they could really usee someone that can come in and take it to the next level. The potential is there, and has flashed many times throughout the years.
I remember stayed home sick from school (I wasn't) to go on a Doctor Who binge back when it was on Netflix. That was like the episode I remember most vividly because it was so goddamn cool. I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi though. Around the same time I was running through the original Star Trek.
You've got to wonder if enforcing the deadline in PA and old rules in Wisconsin and Georgia is the more tame 'Plan A' whereas this is the nuclear option in 'Plan B' where the it works spectacularly, but causes the most Fallout.
I understand their caution and not wanting so much civil unrest, but the country is at stake. If things get too dire, I would definitely pull the trigger on Plan B.
