Employment situation becoming unstable and I don't wanna be here in a few months. Need some advice on good places to move to and avenues for locating a job in such a location.

I've lived in California my whole life and don't have family anywhere else. I'll be leaving all my roots behind but I have no idea where to go. This isn't a good time to being doing a tour trying to find a good locale, so I'd like to go somewhere that isn't terrible but where I could potentially make a difference.

Would love stories or tips from anybody who has left a communist shithole and moved elsewhere. Of course even if you've been in a free state your whole life, I still welcome any advice you could give. At this point I need all the help I can get.

Looking to move in July, or by the end of July if possible. I don't wanna wait too long and then get trapped here.
