I find murder 3 very unlikely to stick, but I do think Manslaughter is plausible. Simply because Chauvin' was still holding Floyd down for like a minute after he went limp despite his partners asking multiple times if they should roll him over into recovery. My understanding is the neck hold was ok per department policy, but department policy you are supposed to roll the perp over into recovery position after you have control of them. This is where I think manslaughter is a possible outcome.
Despite the fact that Floyd was high as a kite and probably OD'ed there's a hypothetical scenario that's pretty common in law school: If george floyd jumps of of the 50th story of a building to commit suicide, but someone shoots him as he passes the 25th floor, was George Floyd murdered even though he was already in free fall?
Because protocol wasn't followed to a T, there is an argument to get Chauvin on manslaughter.

I have a nonpopular opinion here I'm sure. George Floyd was under Derek Chauvin's custody. I do think that Derek Chauvin was negligent in not seeing that he stopped breathing sooner, and that a manslaughter conviction due to negligence is not unreasonable.
I also think that anyone who watched the body camera footage would laugh their ass off at the notion of a murder charge. The officers were doing everything they could to accommodate and help the man.
This is a jury I could see a lot of good people not wanting to be on. If they get doxxed their lives are over.

A lot of people aren't realizing how true this is. By every piece of evidence we've seen the only thing he is guilty of is possessing a firearm as a minor. But we're only thinking of the Criminal case.
There are likely to be civil cases. The 2 pedophiles they killed? Their families/estates will sue him. The faggot whose bicep he shot off? same thing. And don't forget the burden of proof for a civil case is much lower than civil. He will likely wind up getting fucked in civil court even when (if?) he wins in criminal.
