I think either case is plausible (although I'd argue perhaps Trump knew Dems were going to cheat and try to safeguard the election but it's not enough).
Anyhow. i saw somebody mentioned about the 2018 executive order regarding international interference (where after 45 days, people need to report back to Trump & his people).
We're at about 35-40-ish days, I think? With strong suspicions of China (and Iran) running interferences, something might happen?

this isn't the end. i love trump, but trump is not the end of the mean of the movement. take a deep breath, we can figure something out.
don't take me wrong, i'm pessimistic about the country's future. but freaking out and having a meltdown is not going to help. keep a level head, adapt and change our strategies.

I think it doesn't matter whether Alito & Thomas agree to granted immediate relief or not (theorectically, it's possible they'd have provide relief for next election cycle or something).
The most important thing was they agreed to HEAR us out. None of the other judges (looking at Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, ACB) even entertained the idea, and that's a shame and a let-down for the American people.
