I know I'm way late in this thread, but consider this possibility. When it all goes down (if it goes down) Trump blasts out comms that effectively identifies the threat, what he intends to do and calls on every military member to follow his orders and depose any NCO or Officer that will not follow his orders. A direct appeal to the troops.
