Two specific example are Ford and Whirlpool.

More generally, Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration helped the working class enormously. Everyone who wanted a job had a job, and wages were rising at the very bottom. Five years ago, you could hire someone here (Baltimore) for $10/hour. Now it's $15 and people want more. The effect was very noticeable.

‘unhinged’ Trump

I am still waiting for a Democrat to accuse Trump of something that isn't true of themselves. Every single time. If you make a game out of this, you will never lose this game.

Trump was obviously unaware of the extent of the swamp. If he had been reelected, there would have been little change. Now everyone can see how pervasive the deep state is, and Trump knows who his friends are.

If Meghan's picture on the upper right was intentional, she was not only mimicking Diana's dress but adopting her physical postures. That is a step beyond.

Men have a drive to give money to attractive women, particularly to women they have a crush on. The OnlyFans girls have found a way to systematically monetize that tendency even if they don't know what they're doing.

The key is the mid-terms. GOP takes both Houses of Congress and election legislation can be passed. In 2024, Trump should be able to win a fairer election. Most importantly, he will be in a better position to drain the swamp. Very little was happening on that front, and breaking the back of this political machine would be one of Trump's greatest accomplishments.

$53,000 per person for a year? You can buy an entire house in Baltimore for that.

By that standard, Trump isn't a hero either.

A leader had to be extraordinarily dominant to overcome the enormous wave of social consensus created by politicized public health officials. I do not blame anyone for going along with a lockdown at the time. Afterwards, the Democrats pulled a bait-and-switch and made it politically almost impossible for most states to relax the standards for almost a year.

Maybe Abbott went along with the crowd last year, but he has become an important factor in ending it.
