I was in Japan when Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. The Japanese news program covered Obama's Peace Prize acceptance speech, and they counted the number of times that he mentioned "war" (10+) and asked skeptically, "How can a Peace Prize winner talk about 'war' so much?" I was shocked at that criticism, but it opened my eyes to how biased our media in this country was.

Sadly, I fear that you may be right. As long as they view the other side as evil, words as violence, and differing opinions as hatred, turning the other cheek is the same as capitulation. Personally, I was waiting and hoping that the Left would devour its own enough so that most of us could live our lives in peace.... I guess my wishful thinking was too optimistic....
