Well, yeah. How else would our media betters know the virus only infects churches, synagogues, motorcyclists, and small businesses and knows to leave riots, people in pussy hats, Amazon warehouses, Target (especially when it's being looted), and mosques alone?
Not to say that anybody should be made to feel bad for the color of their skin, but taking pride in the accomplishments of other people just because you share, quite literally, the most superficial of characteristics is pretty lame. It's the same as two meatheads arguing about whose city is better because of the relative success of the two groups of millionaires that aren't from either their cities have in playing a children's game.
Also, there's a good amount of different types of white folk...not all of 'em like each other. My Irish grandpa would be super pissed if you were putting him in the same group as the English and my French grandpa would also be really mad if you putting him with the English...or the Germans. In fact, my parents were both considered somewhat a disappointment for marrying outside their kind (even with the fact there are basically no full-blooded Irish or French people in Texas in the mid 50s when their families came here).
I take pride in my own accomplishments, thank you very much. Fuck everyone else. I mean, good for them, but it does nothin' for me.
My rule for most of the last couple decades has been if a democrat is running, vote for the R. If there’s no democrat running, vote libertarian. (Except in 2016 when I didn’t vote for anyone for president, but I’m a reformed pede and already voted Trump this time!) Also, I have real reservations about supporting anything Libertarian going forward.
No democrats for me as long as I live. I’ll vote democrat after I die, I’m sure. But until that time comes, fuck those commies.
This year, at least on my ballot, in the races there was no democrat, the republican was unopposed, but I wasn’t in any mood to vote for anything but Rs this year anyway. I’m looking forward to 2026 and voting for one of John Cornyn’s primary opponents, though.
I can’t say that. One Thursday evening I went out drinking (you know, because my governor isn’t a little bitch) and they had whatever game was on at the time. But, I wasn’t paying attention so I say that only half counts.
Same. I had never bought anything Goya ever. I had never even thought about them until I heard about all this mess. Bought some of their stuff, and haven’t been disappointed yet.
As far as the NBA is concerned, I had actually started to watch a little this year again because of Luka Dončić playing for the hometown team, even though Mark Cuban is an insufferable twat. It sucks, because he’s great at basketball and fun to watch. But, since I hadn’t really watched in 5-6 years, it was easy to let go.
