In the USSR, their biggest fear was separatist movements from the many ethnic groups. (now in regions we call former USSR). So the KBG did a lot to support communist groups in the US, but also Black militants. They thought that the biggest problem for the US was a black uprising. The USSR was also greatly threatened by academics (who often ended up in the Gulags) and so they worked to indoctrinate US academics and then their students.
China learned a lot of their tactics in this area from the Soviets and just applied it differently.
Another example - Russia wants to become Europe's gas supplier so they spend a lot of money spreading anti-fracking propaganda in Europe. Europeans are mostly against fracking now. They are all brainwashed.

Some background - China's biggest problem the past decades has been "mass protests" by the people, usually against local CCP corruption. They are afraid of a nationwide mass movement to regain power for the people.

So, strategically, they think that one of the biggest non-ballistic weapons they have against the US is to incite mass movements here, hopefully leading up to our own cultural genocide. They have been supporting riots in the US for decades. Now they have the cash to buy off politicians to help in that effort.
I think Trump was exposed as a bio attack. No proof, but you have to believe that they tried.

I also suspect the SS did a study of the genetic sequence of what he caught and of everyone who was around him to find a tree of who exposed him and they would know if it was not a strain which was common in DC at the time. If it was produced overseas (to weaponize as potent aerosol that could be hand carried and released) then they would possibly know it was a different strain.

They had to pick their injection points. It did not matter in the Dem dominated cities, so no need to inject down ballot (except Senate) and outside the cities they would not get favorable (hack) judges or election boards so the fraud would be more obvious.

I think the strategy seems to be to claim incompetence, bad procedures, not understanding the law,..... These are all easy things for legislatures to overlook, historians to rewrite, and many people to grudgingly accept.
What they need to avoid is clear evidence of coordinated fraud - that pisses people off, triggers investigation, and facts are stubborn things.

Inserting fraud ballots is easy - you produce offsite and insert quickly.
Counting fraud ballots is no different than other ballots - do that in plain sight.
But what if you had to REMOVE Trump ballots - that takes time, has to be done with official ballots, and is obvious. That is what you do late at night, or in lunchrooms, etc.
What if the late night panic was because they realized (in many states) that they had to remove Trump ballots to prevent districts from going over 100% turnout. This was because Trump turnout was so high.
The software hack just made it appear OK, but was limited by turnout limits. Their plan was to let the software tell them how many Biden ballots to insert, (just in case of an audit or hand recount) but adding was not enough - they had to delete Trump ballots to make the paper match the computer.
I can 't tell what they are doing at those back tables. Maybe just filtering for counting later.

Either way, I wonder if they are simply filtering out Trump votes after hours. In which case these boxes could hold legitimate uncounted ballots, or already counted ballots.
Either way, for your scenario they need to remove Trump votes and replace. That means filtering and that is not something you can do in plain view.
If it were me, I would filter after hours (or in lunchroom). Replacing is easier and takes less time. Manufacturing would be done off site. I would tabulate in full view afterward since by that time the crime is done.
The biggest exposure is when you filter out the Trump votes.

But then what are the large white things which they cover with cloth before they kick everyone out? They sure look like scanners to me, and there are four of them (two are in two screens so it looks like more on the cameras.)
I can't tell what they are doing in the back there. Maybe they have machines, or not. Maybe they are not tabulating late into the night, but fabricating (or filtering) ballots to match the necessary vote counts.

I think you are saying the barcode links to a scan, and the software tells how that ballot was tallied. Otherwise there is no way to know which votes in the total come from which ballot.
Even if they go through the pile and get the physical ballot, it should be no different from the scan. All they are checking is the scan, and how it is read. Not the algorithm, etc. They are still relying on the software to self report.
I did that and now all the updoot totals have three decimal places.

I don't understand. How do they know how 100 random ballots were tabulated?
I mean, I assume there is a pile of ballots and a total for that pile but the only way they can know how each one was tallied is if it is a very small pile, or if the software keeps an image of each ballot and also the software interpretation of how it was tallied.
So I am guessing the software has feature where you can see each scanned image and "audit" that ballot.
If this is the case, then they are testing the accuracy of the optical recognition system. But they are not testing the accuracy of the tallying, or any algorithms, or ballot stuffing, or dead voters, or manufactured ballots, or mismatched signatures, or harvested ballots.
This would be only the tip of the iceberg. Am I reading this right?
More important, this is a very small sample and if this is all they verify, there is no guarantee it will reverse things - They need a hand recount and a forensic audit of all ballots and envelopes.

My understanding is that the ??someone?? trashed the Iranian nuclear program with stuxnet by sprinkling USB drives around the city where the centrifuges were located. Eventually, some worker found a free USB, and walked it into the building infecting their internal computers.
The virus (or worm,) infected around the network until it got to the PLCs that ran the centrifuges and had them run over speed and fail.

Here's a little history - ballots used to have a very secure chain of custody both before and after they were voted. Counties used to order ballots from a printer, and then after the election they would account for every single ballot which was printed. Not just the voted ones, but the blank or spoiled ones as well.
Then the past couple decades we threw all our security out the window and did a mass experiment in incompetence with electronic voting. At that time we seemed to forget everything we knew about security. Then it was realized how bad that was, and we went back to paper, but in many states they completely forgot the security before voting issue.
You want security of blank ballots because with blank ballots anyone can substitute or stuff ballots. Some states apparently do still have pre-voting chain of custody on ballots, but not most.
Not harvesting. Harvesting is bad enough where you go to real people and harvest their vote after they request (or were encouraged to request) an absentee ballot. If that happens there is risk of pressure/vote-buying since it compromises the secret ballot. But in harvesting the person actually does vote. Signatures would not be identical and the SN would not be sequential.
For both of those things to happen, someone had to get a stack of ballots and manufacture them in one sitting.
We need a new term for this more specific than "treason." Vote mining? Vote fabrication?
