People still shouldn't be conflating the two. It's like if part of the DoD's budget included $2B for a nuclear sub, and everybody was posting "the Department of Education is getting $2 billion for a nuclear sub, wtf"
but yeah I completely agree these bills need to be separated, and they need to stop lumping bills together in general. The appropriations bill also needs to be separated into 12 different bills and spread out through the year so they can actually read it before they vote on it, and then maybe they can get rid of stupid shit like money for breastfeeding counselors, which is probably going to some Congressman's daughter who is a breastfeeding counselor.
it's not in the stimulus bill. It's in the annual appropriations bill that funds the government thru the end of next September. This was gonna be done whether there was a virus or not. The stimulus bill was added to that. Everybody is conflating the two.
At least it is bringing to attention the insane amount of money that is wasted on ridiculous shit every year. They could absolutely cut this money and add it to the stimulus package.
None of this has anything to do with the virus because none of this is actually in the stimulus package. This is from the normal annual government spending budget. This was gonna be done if there was no virus. It was actually supposed to be done by the 11th and Trump passed a 2-week or something emergency spending package. The stimulus package got attached to the spending bill so they could get it passed. And I'm not trying to defend anything on your list, I'm pretty much Rand Paul when it comes to government spending.
All of these posts about the stupid stuff in the stimulus bill are a little misleading. The foreign aid and stuff aren't part of the $900B stimulus package, they are part of the normal annual spending bill that funds the government, which is $1.4T, with the stimulus bill attached to that. That's why it's 5000+ pages. This is the bill that needs to be passed to avoid a government shutdown. I'm in no way agreeing with the stuff in the spending bill. It is ridiculous and needs to be cut drastically, just clarifying what is going on
This should be the answer for lots of things. Was reading something earlier today (can't remember what it was, probably the BLM/SJW crowd making demands) and was thinking that the standard response should be "how about go fuck yourself"
yep, Lou Dobbs did the same. His was done as a Q&A with an "election security expert" but was almost word for word what was said here. Dominion/Smartmatic threatened lawsuits unless specific statements were made on air, and everybody cucked.
You claim “239m registered” is the correct number... where does that come from?
I didn't claim 239M 'registered'. 239M is the voting eligible population. I said that's the correct number to use to calculate the number of people who voted using the 66.2% turnout because 66.2% is the percent of voting eligible population that voted. It is NOT the percent of registered voters that voted. They calculated the number of people who voted using registered voters (213M) when they should have used voting eligible population (239M). Does that clear it up?
Here's where I got the number for voting eligible population.
Look at their headline - "‘Simple Math’ Shows Biden Claims 13 MILLION More Votes Than There Were Eligible Voters Who Voted in 2020 Election"
This is wrong and bullshit because they calculated it using 66.2% of 212M instead of 239M.
The 90% registration rate is something you brought up, wasn't mentioned anywhere by Hoft, and is true and interesting and worthy of it's own post. I don't know what you're missing about what I'm saying. Don't know how to make it any clearer.
They used 212M (registered voters) instead of 239M (voting eligible pop.) The 66.2% they used to calculate how many people voted is based on voting eligible population but they did 66.2% of 212M instead.
It's the third time I've seen them make a simple obvious mistake like this, which is why I was a little harsh (directed at them, not you)
That's interesting. Way lower than I expected. Guess I was wrong about it being normal. But doesn't change the fact that Binney and Hoft used the wrong number to make their claims. Definitely worth looking into more, just not from gatewaypundit
Never trust a Hoft when it comes to numbers, or apparently Bill Binney either.
212 million is the number of voters registered. The 66.2% turnout is based on voting eligible population. These are completely different things. Not everybody who is eligible to vote is registered to vote. There's about 239 million voting eligible people. People need to stop making these simple dumbass mistakes. It makes it easy for the left to discredit the things that are actually true.
That's not right either. You're right it should be .000004 instead of .000008, but then you did the ratio using a % for numerator and decimal form for denominator, so you're off by 100x. It's 0.68/.000004, which is 170,000 times higher
You can see a map in this article.
Louisiana and Mississippi are all Dominion, while Alabama is not. I had compared those three for 2016 and 2020 to see if there was anything fishy with LA and MS compared to AL, but it seemed normal
need a rando on 4chan to confirm
