Your blanket is gonna have to wait, ED won’t stop sending patients and two of my patients are in respiratory distress. There’s lazy in every profession, but don’t think for a second that all healthcare staff are like that.

I’m an ICU nurse. I’ve seen patients die from COVID, mostly back in April when there was a surge of critical patients in my area. Thankfully, now the death rate is very low since we know more about treating it in the hospital (look up MATH protocol if you’re interested) and pre-hospital testing is more available. While over 99% live after having COVID, I’ve seen it kill patients. I’m sick of this lockdown too, but don’t pretend the disease hasn’t harmed.
