Just so you know... I have my own business and have skipped unemployment due to COVID-19 on numerous occasions (I am a 'gig' worker as a photographer).

Not any more. I have no guilt whatsoever. I am getting every dime that I can from them.

Cannot do it that quickly.

25th Amendment would be for general unfitness to serve. Not gonna happen in 2 weeks either.

This is all hat and no cattle once again.

BINGO x 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000...

The 17th Amendment 'democratized' the Senate. Losing the Electoral College would democratize the Presidency.

AND, packing the SCOTUS sort of democratizes them too since each party in charge just keeps adding more and more to suit the political climate.

The final nail may already be in the coffin now, but losing the Electoral College would be going over the whole thing again with deck screws.

Gonna call you on it too..

Never was intended to be and never HAS been a democracy. The word is used exactly 0 times in the founding documents.

Strike that nasty word from your vocabulary unless you are, as Jefferson did, using in a sentence that issues a warning about the dangers of a democracy.

Think this...

What good is a democracy when there are 51 foxes and 49 hens?

What good is a democracy when there are 50.001% takers and 49.999% producers?

No damn good at all.

Democracies ALWAYS end in mob rule and chaos. 100% of the time. They are evil because PEOPLE are evil. That is the genius of the Constitution. It pits the three branches of government into an arena of necessary mutual survival. Stick to the Constitution and we would be fine. But we are NOT sticking to it bu rather have been drifting towards democracy for the last century or so.

Gonna end much like what you saw today only on a much larger scale of mob rule. We get a civil war as a result of the 'beauty' of democracy.

It will be over when someone thinks a third party is going to get the job done.

It's never over. I thought it was over in 1992 when a person I would not trust to buy a used car from was elected President. I KNEW it was over in 2008 when Obama was elected. And it was SUPER over in 2012 when he beat the powerfully weak Mittens Romney.

It is not over. Just don't MAKE it over by pulling a Perot on us. Ross Perot is 100% personally responsible for the Clintons having a career in national politics. If he could have just had an ego that was half the size of his ears the Clintons would never have been on the world stage. 43%. That was what Clinton WON with. 43%.

Hey...

At least stick around until Joe starts to make up a solid 10% of the words that come out of his mouth. This is going to be a real trip.

Hand in there. You don't get to see a king go mad very often.

Everyone...

Make a fake Twitter account and clog that shit hole up with meaningless metrics that copulates with their data gathering.

2
jimboscott 2 points ago +2 / -0

I disagree. No fires, no damage to speak of other than to gain entry. Nobody seen leaving the premises with big screen TV or a microwave oven.

You get a few hundred thousand of ANY group the slightest bit angry and there will be a few thousand who will think this is a good idea.

jimboscott 1 point ago +2 / -1

If that helps you cope with it... fine.

The election was a sham to be sure, but it will not be overturned. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence and even more 'strangeness' but in a court of law none of it rises to any level approaching 'beyond a reasonable doubt' even though one could argue that a 'preponderance of the evidence' should be the test.

Pence was never going to do anything other than be the emcee today. Those who thought he could single-handedly enact a remedy were either grasping at the very last remnant of what USED to be a straw or were being lied to by someone who just landed on my moron list - Lin Wood.

Because the markets do not respond to news nearly as much as you think.

The market being tied to news is an illusion, case in point...

On any given day the markets will either go up or down. Regardless of which way they go, headline writers will have at their disposal a 'tie-in' news story that they will run that SEEMS to be causative. Each and every day there are dozens of 'UP' news items and dozens of 'DOWN' news items. They just pick one that fits what the hell the markets were going to do with or without news.

There ARE news items that are market moving, but they are usually things tied directly to the markets like interest rate hikes, surprising UE or goods data.

But, the myth of the markets responding to NEWS as the prime mover is a fallacy.

Can you link me to it. Might be tougher than I though on this image...

It is difficult to do with a panoramic image, but I am going to overlay a perspective grid over this to see if one could count people in the foreground, then sort of extrapolate crows size based on the grid cells... Will post in a separate thread.

I think it is because they want to justify the murder of the unborn so much that it even extends to the murder of ANYONE.

They are admitting, in this seeming paradox, that THEY ARE the SAME as the murderer facing execution. Call it reverse projection or something.

If they agree to the execution of the murderer on death row, then murder for them becomes a more serious offense.

In simpler terms... they are FOR murder in all cases.

The only exception being the death of a black man at the hands of a white man. That 'man bites dog' event somehow gets elevated to another set of mental filters. But, if it is black on black crime? Not a peep from the left.

Actually, I would be happy with a two year shit show from the democrats that rivals the Carter malaise of the late 1970's...

Then another Reagan for eight years.

I know... mail in voting and all. State legislatures MUST clamp down on that shit real fast and NOT make it the norm. You KNOW the dems are now going to have a second sacrament to add...

  1. killing innocent babies in the womb
  2. voting by mail

I can live with 2 years of utter brainless bullshit if we come out of it having learned something as we did about 4 decades ago.

Funny how they move here, then cry racist. Why the HELL did they MOVE to the deep south in the first place?

But, as perhaps a nod to some personal racism in ME... every time I think about things like this I really wished we had picked our own damn cotton.

If it is fraud then it is not going to be proven as it involved mail-in ballot harvesting.

The ENEMY at this point has to be seen as voting by mail.

Dekalb County (where I grew up) went 87% for Warnock and Ossoff.

That IS Dekalb County. I totally believe that. Honestly, Dekalb is a moral cesspool of poverty and LGBTQ insanity.

We have to come to grips with the fact that we are failing it understand how anyone could vote for these morons while ourselves displaying the very same inability to 'get it' as Hillary voters did in 2016 when they lost.

We are not assessing the playing field properly. People ARE voting in huge numbers for this clowns. And it has now come to Georgia.

I bet if you plotted the political leanings of GA with the growth of the film industry here it would line up very nicely. GA has overtaken New York for the #2 spot for the film industry. And we are likely paying the price for that now.

Right now, it looks very much like we will be making more bricks with less straw for a while.

He is giving people enough rope... that's all.

Remember, evil is not so much a force on its own than it is the absence of good. Just like God being described as 'light'. Darkness is not a thing... it is the ABSENCE of a thing. Same with evil.

21st Century Man has told God to take a Hike (as a mass trend) and God has said "I will do just that".

We are reaping what was sown starting about 60 years ago. The expulsion of God from public life that has led to the expulsion of God from the vast majority of personal lives.

And what we are reaping is the absence of good and, by default, the prevalence of evil.

Well... he sure did a good job keeping it to himself while his neurons started firing in uncontrollable bursts of tangential thought being spun off of other tangential thoughts. His logical processes would map out something like what you see from a particle accelerator... just spinning off in all directions.

For me... Lin Wood is now in Alex Jones territory.

Dekalb County. At that time they were only reporting about 40% of their total votes.

Dekalb went roughly 87% to both Warnock and Ossoff.

I grew up in Dekalb County in the 60's and 70's. It was sane back then.

Now, Dekalb is the LGBTQ capital of the state, especially areas of Decatur where it seems everyone and their brother is a lesbian. Yeah... I did that on purpose. And there is a large black population that apparently STILL has yet to learn how to take their shackles off their brains.

I think almost everyone has a bad read on the the election...

People are actually voting for these morons because they have been indoctrinated since kindergarten into supporting socialism.

Ossoff and Warnock won. The problem is the voters this time.

As sort of an 'irony of ironies', Warnock is a hate-filled preacher of black supremacy who speaks out against white privilege and Ossoff is the POSTER BOY for white privilege.

Figure THAT one out.
