Cain was the elder (establishment) and had the birthright. He assumed the blessing of office without humility. He then became furious and entertained murder in his heart because younger Abel's sacrifice was accepted. He knew the truth. He grumbled, he raged, he burned with anger. But he murdered Abel anyway. He murdered his own ideal of virtue and perfect relationship. He knew he was rejected and struck at the heart of God for spite. He wanted God to strike him dead. God refused, and let him live a long life of remembrance and suffering for his deeds.
So go! Go vote "against" Trump. Murder him in your hearts. See where it leads. Drink of the cup to its fullest. Revel in your hypocrisy, your lies, your delusion. Follow it to the end. See where it leads, you who would replace God for yourselves.
