Sorry to get EDGY there, but I think the problem is we're too trusting in our authority figures to save us. We should be saving ourselves and our own communities.
WE should start food pantries for the hungry, building projects for our homeless veterans, employment projects for our unemployed, sharing programs for the broke and bankrupt companies and customers, gardening projects for the places where all they have for groceries is a fucking British Petroleum gas station.
NOBODY will come save us, even if we like them. We can love Trump and his policies, but WE have to do the fucking work. WE have to plant the fields, house the cold, feed the hungry, and pay the hardworking. Because Trump isn't coming to my broke-ass community to give us a fucking handout.
