NJ has only 21 counties but over 680 school systems, no lie. 70% of our property taxes fund the school systems, and the average household pays around $8,000 a year in property taxes. Some pay twice and three times that much.
Buck Sexton has a stream coming on at 5:45.
While I was in the Navy, I served with a guy from Romania who did live through the Communist rule; I think he was around 10 or so when your leader (sorry, hard to spell his name) and his wife were executed on live tv Christmas Day. At a different command, I served with 2 guys from Lithuania and also someone from China. It all helped expedite their citizenship. The above poster is totally right. Good luck to you!
Wow, did all the same stuff. I loved going to the zoo and Grants Farm. I remember seeing the Clydesdales there (I think that's where they were). Those horses are amazing and huge! Scared shitless being up in the Arch though.
I remember that game with Rick, saw it on TV. It was a total meltdown. He was supposed to be the young ace. Hard few innings to watch. Felt bad for him, don't ever think he was the same after that. I grew up in TN 4 hours away, so we went to St Louis at least once a year to visit family.
I know residents in St. Louis hate this; the Cards are one of the few good things they have over there; not much else going on. Small market team, but some of the highest attendance year after year.
Here in NJ that's all we can do. No one is allowed to vote in person because of China virus. Only handicapped people are allowed to physically go to the polls. This state can go f itself.
I understand; my dad and his family left Illinois for our homestead in TN when his father died at 38. A lot of the family still lives up there. I loved the Cards for as long as I remember. Went to games at Busch II and got to go again to Busch III the year it opened. Got to watch the insane World Series in 2011 while on deployment in the Navy. Good times. I miss seeing the games, I just hope everything turns back around.
All my friends in PA thinks Trump will win.
My dad grew up listening to him in the 60s living across the river in Illinois. We are both big Cards fans. He wrote a poem after 9/11 attacks and read it in Busch stadium before a game. It was the first mlb game after the attacks. Its on youtube somewhere; good thing to watch.
This is terrific. We all need to pray for this country to be healed. I think that Trump was put here by God to strike down all the evil people that are trying to destroy this country.
Thought she was hot on that 80s MTV show "Remote Control".
Wasn't watching, what did Booker say?
In NJ it's a felony just to carry a loaded weapon in your car, let alone carry on your person. Such bullshit laws. You cant even protect yourself here without going to jail.
My stepson is a 19 year old Libertarian and he is an Anarchist and for open borders. We are always disagreeing wirh each other hard on that. I told him that people sneaking over the border is against the law. He tells me according to the Constitution its only a misdemeanor. Teenagers think they know everything.
Don't think so. It's a very wealthy town east of NYC.
All the people in his campaign are probably saying "Dude, shut the fuck up, just keep your mouth shut!"
Yes, that would be it. Finally got my ballots today.
I don't know how good he was, but he was wearing a 101st hat too. Getting vets to vote for Biden; what an asshole.
I live in NJ and haven't recieved mine yet. Go figure that I live in the biggest red city in the state.
Look at those crazy eyes
Disney owns them now. That's why they are going left.
We saw a bunch of anti-us graffiti when we were there in Greece while we were on the island of Crete. I was in Cannes in 1996, then in Marseilles in 2002, 2004, and 2011. Never went to Paris. I always wanted to visit. Got some good wine to send back home while I was in Marseilles. It all came from the Provence area.
I grew up in a very conservative state, I met my wife in NJ while stationed there, now that's where I live. Good thing is that she is a Trump supporter too. The county we live in is pretty red, but most of the state is not. Hopefully we get a new governor next year.
When I was in the Navy I got to visit France. First time was Cannes. After that, I got to visit Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence. I really enjoyed my time there. While we were all over Europe while on my deployments, I said it was a great place to visit, but America was still the best place on earth. Other places I got to go to was Great Britain, Spain, Greece, Italy, Israel and Dubai. I would say that the country that treated us the worst was Greece.
I grew up in TN, pretty based. Nashville and Memphis are bad, but it's still pretty red there. No state income tax either.
I retired in 2012. I saw the quality of sailors that enlisted drop from when I enlisted in 1992. I remember my supervisors telling all of us not to vote for Clinton (1992 being an election year).
