Haha now I gotta stab someone and then I will get to be on news!
Reminds me of the idiots who think they will walk in front of a car so they can sue for money. Except if they end up paraplegic no amount of money is worth that.
I understand what you are saying, some experience churches as if they are moral factories where you put money in and feel righteous and apply works. And you lost faith in God due to a lack of net positive evidence. Understandable.
Personally for me, I believe in God and that we humans were corrupted by our own pride and we divorced ourselves from God for millennia’s and while we tried stop gaps ultimately Jesus was the solution we needed to bridge and reconcile with holy God who is just. God is living and can operate independent of time and space, that is why the angels worship “Holy Holy Holy is the Most High, the one who was, and is and is to come” and why he answered Moses “I AM” for his name. We are in the simulation called life and we all have different walks through it, I think the Book of Ecclesiastes and the Book of Job are great examples of Christians who struggled with God and against God, but learned some wise insights in their experiences.
I see you though, and I totally understand your experience as valid since this is common. (Whether the specific church pastor, members, elders, or denomination rubbed you the wrong way.)
I read this as over the next 40 years. 😆 😭
But seriously I pray for justice.
PSALM 82
1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
He should rest. I think he was probably black pilled harder than any of us. Ron Paul then Donald Trump.
Who’s next?
