When that weirdo king came out, I was done. Don't know how long that's been but yeah. That was the nail in the coffin. Years before that I think I broke a tooth on a hamburger and gave it up then though come to think of it. It was when they switched their chicken nuggets. I remember now. I don't really do fast food though so I'm not the target demographic. My lifestyle screams fast food, but I avoid it at most costs. You should do the same.
Fried chicken was a delicacy that was enjoyed by rich southern whites mostly as it was very expensive. It was a fad kind of thing when it started only available in the expensive restaurants, pictures of it on magazines... that kind of stuff. It wasn't until it became mainstream that ordinary people would be able to buy fried chicken and that made it fancy. Poor folk were able to afford fried chicken and it was extremely popular giving the sterotype to blacks and fried chicken because it was a big deal to poor people when they could afford it no matter the color.
Before that happened you'd have to go to a restaurant, order it and wait 30 min then another 10 to eat it, pay and leave at restaurant prices. When they started frying it at places like popeyes and corner stores it became cheap.
Kind of like bananas.
Agree if that's true but when we went and saw Kid rock the tickets were fairly expensive, and beers were $15 a piece. Hell of a concert, only had 1 beer. It was a 16oz though. That was about 8 years ago so thinngs may have changed since then.
I'm very good at something, extremely good. I had a subreddit on the topic and it was taken over by bullshit. I had a 2 week argument with someone that said all the the things the mfg said, that I knew would work for a few months and then cause problems again. It never seemed to end. I came to the conclusion that it was a reputation company because there was no way what my experience told me and his words added up. After TD was banned I left it, and it's still there. Probably spreading bullshit. If you want a job welding get one and learn from one of the old timers. They won't be around much longer leaving the industry full of morons that read something on the internet so know how to do it. The ones that don't need the attention do, the ones that need the attention post on the internet. Reddits agenda is in everything. It's remarkable really from a strategy standpoint.
Carlin got really weird at the end of his life. Till then he was pretty much spot on.
