Yeah it's tough. I finally succeeded in getting my mother to stop watching TV news, but she still struggles with thinking for herself. She treats the info she gets online the same way she treated TV news. I've told her time and again the best thing is to vet everything yourself. It is more work but it is truly the only safeguard against fooling yourself. Many people don't understand this and just parrot what they hear from others.
You have to show them the evidence with conviction. It took me years to redpill my mother and she sends me doomer screenshots from Parler all damn day long. I told her to knock that shit off or I'll block her for a couple days (calm down, I'm still going to Thanksgiving). After that theres really not much you can do but have faith all will he revealed in short order. This situation is a lesson in patience for even the most patient of us.
It will have to be unofficial merch, the mods have stated many times they dont want to monetize. One of us could start something up and donate the proceeds to the legal defense or conservative causes, Kyle Rittenhouse defense etc.
Very similar situation. Been commissioner of a league with college buddies. Told my best friend I was transfering control of the league to him after this season and retiring. We formed the league together, recruited everyone that's in it now. It's been a lot of fun and perhaps if Trump blocks this coup I'll be willing to change my mind. But I just feel like sports as a hobby is a giant waste of time now.
Don't apologize for your generation if you aren't contributing to its problems. There are a fuck ton of millenials who still haven't learned it's not all about them or that only they can make themselves happy, not the government or whatver else they use to fill the void left behind by their daddy issues. But I'm not sorry they represent millenials because they dont represent me. The only person you control is yourself, so go out there and be the biggest badass your generation has to offer. Teach your friends how to be badasses like you. If I learned anything from Donald Trump it's dont ever fucking apologize for anything.
