He's an admitted Trump supporter. His general jdea is that he wishes he could get someone a bit more dignified and without the glaring character flaws, but ultimately those complaints are trivial in the face of what he's accomplished and against the threat the progressive left represents.
I agree that he can't just go full MAGA like Adam because he does need to ensure that his audience sees him as fair, but also he's just not that enthusiastic about Trump, and that's okay. In fact, it's great, because that image makes him more approachable to moderates. We want that. We need that. We should stop complaining about that.
Okay, is anyone else not concerned about the guy who tweeted this? It's one thing to align with him on the issue of Democrats being insane pieces of shit, but I am NOT gonna be associated with a holocaust-denier who says that "race is the most important thing, everything else is subsidiary".
Let's not source our shit from actual fucking racists and anti-semites and get pissed when we get called out for it.
Tim's progression has been nice to see. He's watching in real time as the insane left does every insane thing they've accused the right of doing. Being all the terrible kinds of people they accuse the right of being. Meanwhile, Trump is flipping him on specific points of consternation.
In the face of that, you can either accept you were wrong and change, or lie to yourself and carry on. Tim has integrity, I guess.
But it is still very difficult to admit being wrong, and harder still to re-evaluate your ethics, because you worry you might be allowing yourself to be corrupted. That requires a slow transformation -or an issue that is so important to you that sudden, drastic change is warranted.
I think that the peace deals, riots, and general insanity of the progressive left and their pandering democrat leaders sealed the deal for Tim. He isn't MAGA, but close enough.
I half migrated when the site went up. Spent time on T_D, and lurked here. Argued a bit about it, and kinda flip-flopped about "abandoning" T_D so quickly. On one hand, I felt it was necessary to fight and to have a presence on reddit and other social media sites. "This is where the fight is" I said. We could sit here in our respective bubbles and allow the left to corrupt the normies on Facebook, Reddit, and Twitter unchecked, or we could take a stand.
On the other hand, we all kinda knew the ban was coming eventually, and we realized that there wasn't a "safe" platform to regroup in; every existing platform would have either failed or banned us for the sin of supporting Trump.
Ultimately, those cowardly assholes gave us the boot, and now it's guerilla warfare: We go in, drop redpills and regroup here to reload on memes and facts. They still ban us, but we are legion. They slander us, but we know the truth. They hate us, but we are above that. Mostly above it...I mean, we're okay.
Hard for them to defend the state Africa was in before white people showed up. Can't blame us for the primitive lifestyles they had.
That's why I laugh at Wakanda. If early Africans found a magic space metal, why should anyone think they'd have been able to utilize it? They were still in the fucking stone age.
I love hearing them say that Africa would have had their Wakanda had whites not arrived.
But Africa is the cradle of humanity. If Africans were gonna build their utopia, when did they plan on doing it? While Europeans, Arabs and Asians were creating math, science, philosophy, innovating technology, and building empires, Africans were...living in mud huts.
Thing is, we could spread the blame to the GOP and their refusal to pass it as written, but...
Fuck illegals. They shouldn't get a dime. The ONLY money I want spent on illegals is the costs of deporting their asses, which should be billed to their home country.
I like that he says that. Complacency will be our downfall. Even if Trump has 80% of Americans on his side, we'll still lose if only 10% of us vote.
I want to not only win the EC, I want the Popular vote as well. I want the left's spirit crushed. I want to see such an overwhelming defeat that they can't deny it. They need to know that their ideals are detrimental to the country and humanity as a whole.
So in my mind, Tim isn't wrong. We cannot fall into the same trap HRC's side did in 2016.
