I guess someone could use the same logic to, you know, stop covering for election fraud. Just swap out the word "safety" with "legitimacy" and "subscribers" with "citizens". For some reason they weren't worried about that though and made a totally different choice.
So many normies aren't aware of stuff like this. That leftists have literally bombed government buildings, including the capital. But I'm sure 90% of public school high school graduates today believe Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln are all bad people.
Have a heart to heart with her about being civil to each other, especially in front of the kids. Tell her she doesn't have to agree about everything related to politics, but your principles go beyond one person, Trump, and you want her to respect that, even if she disagrees.
The thing is, there are some out there that just are stupid when it comes to the name Trump. Depending on how rabid a liberal is, they were probably triggered by Bush or Reagan too. It's an intellectual weakness. So make your conversations not explicitly about a name, but about the principles. When they say Trump this or that, like they invariably will, you can say "Who said anything about Trump? I'm just concerned for our country, not just one person." If they're a good woman they'll recognize it's not worth damaging a marriage over politics and even better (less likely) if they at least respected you for being a man of principles.
I'm not sure. If they already condemned him, they already made up their mind he was a bad person before even talking with him to try to understand why. In that case, time to man up and tell them to mind their own business and stop supporting fraud. Don't argue just to argue, but your convictions matter and they can't gaslight you into accepting fraud.
I had better hopes for Rand, but he's tone deaf. We don't give a shit about another phoney impeachment at this point. We care that people like you didn't care about rampant election fraud. That's why we don't give a shit about voting Republican or not.
