Seriously, where are these people getting machetes? Amazon? Ted Sheckler's Machete Emporium?

If you aren't a farmer or homesteading or somehow in the agriculture business I'm not sure why you'd be in need of a machete.

Maybe this is a list that needs keeping? Or at least set up laws so you need a valid ID to purchase?

Is it really that far out of the realm of possibilities?

It's a shit move, and now that it's quite clear that he has zero character, maybe this needs some further investigation.
