I used to be very involved in baseball in my community until my son switched to tennis. High schools need boys for tennis. There is a lot of opportunity. There is money for college. It's a sport my kid will play all his life, unlike baseball which, after high school/college he'd never play again other than beer league softball. Plus, I can get out and hit with him now and get exercise. Plus it's not boring. :)
