Was coming to say this too. We can give our worries and concerns over to God. My parents have both been vaccinated and my prayer is that I am proven wrong about the vaccine, honestly -- I don't want to be right! But if I am right and the vaccine is bad, I just pray that God protects those who do take it and keeps them safe from harm.

Having children taught me this lesson -- having your heart in the body of a helpless infant or astride toddler legs wandering wobbling along dangerous paths is enough to give a mother a heart attack on an hourly basis. My wise mother told me the first time I called her in a panic that we can only do what we can do and then we give it to God -- we give our children to Him and ask for His protection.

I honestly do not know if I would have made it through 19 years of motherhood without the solace of God to take on these burdens that are far too big for my own human heart to bear.

Amen sister -- we should be friends. Maybe if we all ban together, we can bring back some sanity to the world.

I honestly do not know any white person who is the color of bandaids either.

In general, last time I checked, white people have various shades too, and its rather racist for this teacher to assume that my skin color is the same as a bandaid just because I am white.

I was just talking with my sister about this, as we have another sister who completely buys into the COVID stuff and is counting down the days until she can jab her family with this vaccine. I was just saying to her yesterday how I don't understand how our sister could want this shot that the person she hated most in the universe had rushed to make possible -- hell, I love Trump and even I am not trusting him on this vaccine thing right now -- and lo and behold, I wake up this morning and now FAUCI is the one who made that happen, so it makes it all better.

Man they think of everything.

I feel like that gave me a disease worse than COVID just watching it.

I genuinely hope so! As much as I look forward to the second coming of the Lord, I am not eager for the end of the world!

That said, given the risk and reward ratio, there just doesn't seem to be a good reason other than "the government tells you to" to get this vaccine, at least for me right now.

I reserve the right to change my mind, especially as the vaccine is more thoroughly tested and approved for regular use, but for now -- there is just too much risk to take it and not enough reward to make it worthwhile to me.

To me, I don't know man... this isn't something I want to be wrong about, you know? This vaccine shows many of the signs of the sign of the beast, with the exception of it actually showing something on your hand or head.

To me it is kind of like the thing where I don't want to be wrong.

I'm not getting the vaccine mostly because I am adverse to flu vaccines generally and with this vaccine being so new and untested, I am not comfortable taking it or having my daughter take it.

But I am not gonna lie -- I am also not taking it because I am not yet convinced it is NOT the mark of the beast. Call me crazy all you want, but I really really do NOT want to be wrong about that, so I'm happy to be called crazy til I am certain I am not giving away my salvation so I can fly on a plane.

This makes me really sad and is the reason why I will not let my younger daughter get this vaccine.

I have an adult daughter who has an aversion to shots in general, but is in college and I know if they require it, she is likely to take it and I am diligently working on that angle as well.

Man that takes me back... I miss the 90s. It was just better back then.

If I were on social media and interacted with these morons, my reply would be:

Sex is not just about pleasure, dopes -- it is intended to create BABIES (you know, those pesky pregnancies you go visit PP for?) and a trans-woman can put all the holes in his body he wants to, but he can't will biology to create life from two sperm.

I think it is just the restriction in normal activity -- yes, people can find alternatives, but some people don't or can't for whatever reason. Some areas just aren't safe for walking outside.

My not-an-excuse is just that I have become a lazy-ass fuck in the past year, working from home and sitting on my ass reading shit online instead of going out and doing the things I COULD do.

I think it is good to keep yourself in check and keep ensuring that you are "on the side of the good" -- the world got into this mess because people blindly followed what people told them was right. We are all here -- us Patriots -- because we break the mold and think for ourselves. It wouldn't do us any good to become sheep of another sort!

Your compatriots are out here -- we may not be arm in arm in reality, but we are in spirit!

I wish we had a way to know the good towns -- they don't get talked about anywhere and it is hard to pick up and move somewhere without knowing where to go. We are wanting to move out of a suburb and into a small town in our state or a neighboring state, but I've really struggled to even know where to start looking because even with research and even visiting places, you don't really know what it is like to LIVE there.

That said, I don't blame people for not sharing about their amazing little towns, otherwise they won't be little or amazing for long :/
