Let me guess you're new to being an atheist. I went through that phase too, but I only attack christians or religious people based on their actions, not their belief. Do you honestly get this triggered when you hear someone talk about the flat earth? If so then you need help. There are ways to talk to people that will get them to actually listen to you. The death penalty for violent offenders is NOT retribution. Its an insurance policy that our kids will be safer. Yes we could attempt to lock them up or reform them. However once a person has been shown to be capable of this type of crime should we really risk the health and safety of our kids?
I'll never understand those that are against the death penalty in cases where its 100% certain that the suspect was guilty. If you are a person of faith then you can't really kill someone, you can only send them to their maker to be judged sooner than expected. If you are not a person of faith then you can realize your simply shutting down a defective meat computer.

Atheism does not advocate anything you posted here. You probably dont believe that Thor is the one true god, or zeus, or alah. Just remember this, you are an athiest to every other religion that is not your own. There are thousands of religions out there and yet you only believe in one of them.
You could argue that without a strong moral compass being ingrained into you over and over the odds of you growing up to be a moral adult is far lower.
