Meanwhile where I live in north georgia there are several cheap walk-in clinics that we will see you in under an hour as long as you go before lunch. The ones that I have been to saw me within ten minutes of completing the paperwork. I have really good health insurance that my employer pays for but I've been paying out of pocket because they have been so adorable I felt guilty having them mess with it. In fact they have been competitive with the local veterinarians. The only difference covid-19 has made is that some will make you wait in you car if the waiting room is crowded.
Edit: it has been more of a pain in the ass here to give blood than to see a specialist
We had it beaten into us the first semester about how inaccurate floating points are and it is better to use integers nowadays for integer values instead of floats for modern equipment. Heck, having to analyze the inaccuracies induced by floating point arithmetic in Numerical Analysis made me HATE floats, and I'm a math major. Don't get me started on Pentium Processors...
