I’ve not looked in years, but if you look at hunting licenses in a few states that publish numbers, I think it comes out to something like bigger than all but a few of the largest standing armies in the world. I’d bet that most of the license holders are right of center.

Know that you are not alone. Many many right leaning people live and work with you. Many of them are silent, because they fear what could happen if they were public with their opinions. I get the occasional message thanking me for being outspoken, and that they wish that they could be, but fear losing friends or even income as a result. I kinda want to criticize them for it, but everybody has to make their own choices. There's a time and a place, a right way to try to give people the information they need to decide for themselves.
