It makes me sick to my stomach knowing that the poll workers in AZ gave me a sharpie to fill out my ballot and my ballot bled through. Happened to everyone around me.

Sharpies are fine to read the ballots by the machine. It does not address the issue of the ink bleeding through to the other side.

The issue is the bleed through not that the machine won’t read the marker ink. News media is so dishonest.

They are conflicting sharpie not being read by the machine (it does, no issues there) and a sharpie bleeding through unlike a blue or black pen.

Voted in Scottsdale. Was given a sharpie to fill out my ballot. Yes, it bled through to the other side.

I did think it was weird they were giving out sharpies to everyone to fill out their ballots, sharpies are expensive.

I personally fed it into the machine, I heard something on the side of the machine print a receipt or something and heard it drop in. The lady watching the machine said I was good to go. I didn’t see anything on the machine that said accepted or the like. It’s my first time voting in AZ.
