Car chases are dangerous for the fleeing criminal, the police that have to chase him, and every single innocent driver on the road.
He was already wanted on felony warrants, this WAS the "arresting him another day"
If you let them get away every time they try to run, when would they not try to run?
I remember when it happened and the media was talking about his daughter and how the police took her father away from her, and shit like that.
I said to a friend at the time, the best thing Floyd could have done for his daughter is die in the vicinity of a police officer. They're gonna be rich because of it.
"Jurors may be stricken for cause if it is revealed they are not able to be impartial. That might mean they posted on Facebook, “I hope they fry the SOB!” or memes that mirror that sentiment. "
Unless it's Roger Stone on trial, right?
It was a university in Hong Kong, as they were surrounded by police
This is the most insane thing to me. You don't need dead voters or double voters or some algorithm to flip votes, if you have some asshole sitting in a room somewhere deciding who 70% of the voters actually voted for.
He's angry that more people weren't shot for inconveniencing him.
I've seen the hit piece articles about her, digging into her past and trying to make her look bad. Anyone that testifies is being attacked by international media companies and threatened by antifa. No one is going through that just for fun or publicity.
From the officer video of the Daunte Wright shooting, it doesn't look like the officer planned to shoot him. She tried to taser him but didn't realize she was holding her gun. Which.. is pretty fucked up. She shouldn't be an officer. That's stupidity combined with panic combined with poor training. No excuse for the cop, but no sympathy for the criminal either.
The army guy in your link was a shithead that deserved way worse than he got. He's the one that escalated the situation that far. He made the police chase him for almost two miles before he stopped. That turned a simple traffic stop into a high danger stop for the police. He went from passive resistance to active resistance (holding the door shut). Meanwhile the police officer was de-escalating levels of force by putting away his gun and pulling a taser, then holstering the taser and pulling pepper spray.
It was obvious that he wanted to martyr himself and blame racism from the way he set up his phone camera then refused to follow orders. You jump to the conclusion that he would have been shot if he reached for his seat belt, but he literally unbuckled his seat belt and didn't get shot. So...no?
It's amazing how everyone that claims they're so scared of the police still fight them and refuse to follow directions. You know what I would do if someone pointed a gun at me and gave me lawful instructions to do something? I'd probably just do it. Probably wouldn't get shot either.
