OK - I think I figured OP out.
He obviously wrote this in what he thinks is some kind of "conservative-speech" or "trump-fan language." It sounds ridiculous, btw. But I think his heart is pure. He's genuinely scared of the corona boogeyman, and thinks he needs trumpland to stay quarantined, for everyone's good.
We in trumpland know that we're laying waste to the economy with every day it's shutdown, and the repercussions of that are far, far worse than this new virus outbreak.

Every generation has a major happening that shapes the way they behave forever. I think we're lucky in that this will turn out to be a minor happening in comparison to the great depression, ww2, and vietnam/korea/the cold war. We'll never forget this freakout, and we'll live our lives to prevent another one, and be prepped just in case.
No matter what I am changing not but just my job, but my career. I do IT for hospitality. Our 100+ customers are closed. Honestly never occurred to me that this entire mega-industry could be mandated to shut down. Meanwhile, people I know in government are vacationing with full pay, posting camping/hiking pictures to social media every day.
From my understanding, when this case first started, the judge offered to kick it out of court. Flynn wanted the case, he wanted them to have to provide evidence, and the judge was majorly pissed because he thought Flynn should take the deal and run. Flynn didn't want to just walk, he wanted to turn the tables.
Corona hype damages China the most, by far. Investment is fleeing, production is hurting, reputation as a super power is sliding. All while the US is in trillion dollar trade negotiations with them. Peter Zeihan says this is a "glimpse into the future" of a world where China fades and trade routes become less secure. The US is pulling out of the middle east, countries that rely on that oil being imported are going to have to figure out how to get their energy without the US's aircraft carrier battle groups securing the voyage. If the middleast doesn't blow up their own oilfields in internal conflict as soon as the US is not there policing it.
Dore is an interesting character. He's definitely true to himself and sticks to his principles. Seems like a good, genuine dude, that I would definitely hang out with, invite to the family BBQ, even let babysit my kids.
He's uber-progressive though. Hates cops. Commie-tier socialist. Trusts govt way more than corporations. Believes in sanctuary cities, gun control, taxpayer trans surgeries for felons. Open boarders, free school, free healthcare, including for illegals. Thinks if you tax Jeff Bezos and cut military spending in half, it could buy all of that, plus end homelessness.
Is there a documentary about McCarthy? Would love to get more info on this period in American history.
