Because not everyone wants power. Being in minority means they don't have to do anything. The pressure is off of them. Democrats get to be the bad guys, and they get the $$$$
I think this is the main difference between Democrats and Republicans. Democrats want $$ and power. Republicans mostly just want the $$. Just my theory based on what I see.

Well part of the theory is that a whole bunch of Congress men and women will have committed treason/other crimes and there would be many vacancies for their seats, and I'm guessing we would need to hold special elections to replace them.
Not saying it will happen, but that's the idea. The swamp would be drained.

Me too. And that sort of thing is usually not my cup of tea. I'm a sweet southern Christian woman. I like to read and play with my pets and spend time with my husband. I like peace and calm in my life. The ultimate Hufflepuff. But I'm sorry, they went too far. They have threatened my feelings of security and safety. They are trying to destroy the fabric of our country. We are freaking buying survival gear right now just in case things get really bad. I'm terrified and sick to my stomach over what they want to do.
For that.... if my some miracle Trump manages to take them all down. I will watch the executions and dance and laugh and eat popcorn while I cheer. I shall visit their graves to pee on them and dance and sing in the cemetery over the glee I feel for their demise. I know that's not very Christian of me, but that is how I feel right now. There was a video put out a couple of days ago that had an interesting theory involving FEMA. He laid it all out and after looking some stuff up about FEMA it was actually pretty interesting. If I can find it I'll post another comment here with it.
It's actually a different picture You can tell by the angle of the camera. However, it's obvious they were taken at the same time. So he still chose a picture without Pence.
He did crop Pence out of at least 2 other pictures that he posted on the same day.
