I will say a lot of people don't seem to have read the EO very carefully. The EO had two 45 day deadlines. The first deadline was for a DNI assessment that was due on Dec. 18th. Once the assessment is turned in, if there was sufficient evidence of foreign interference, Homeland Security and several other organizations have 45 days from when the assessment is turned in to write a report. This gives 90 days just for assessments and reports. Plus, the EO is for seizing property and assets of people and organizations involved in all of this. Arresting people guilty of high treason never required this EO. That is all criminal stuff which is a whole other side of this.
I read the EO multiple times, and this is my understanding of it.
This is my hope and my prayer. I do not want war. I know war may come, anyways, but I am fervently praying against it.
My hope is that a lot of this "information" leaking from the WH and the Oval Office is planned disinformation by Trump to keep his enemies feeling like they won and to keep the media chasing and reporting false stories. Trump's trolling of the media is poetry in action.

My husband had an interesting theory yesterday that Trump may be going through the secret courts since this affects National Security. If he's right, everything out in the open is just for public opinion. Would love to hear what y'all think about this. I thought it was an interesting theory.
