My uncle and his son still farm, just like all our ancestors before them. Alfalfa and beef cows. Seems so idyllic to me, a suburbanite from birth. So I asked my cousin what it’s like being a farmer, and he said, “It’s lonely, miserable, and you don’t make any fucking money.”
Not if he’s an uncle by marriage.
Edit: I got downvoted because some people don’t understand family trees. So imagine this if you will.
My dad’s sister is named Pam. Pam is my aunt. Pam is married to Ron, so Ron is my uncle. Ron has a brother named Jeff. Jeff is not my uncle and is not related to me, except sorta kinda through marriage.
Jeff is my uncle’s brother. But he is not my uncle.
I strongly recommend Food network too. Look, I’ve watched all the shows on Food network for years. And I have to say, they keep it strictly food related. There is no woke bullshit, no social justice bullshit, it’s just G rated food content. So if you’re into cooking, and hate leftist bullshit, Food network is great. It’s actually quite wholesome.
When you’re a man, nobody cares if you feel depressed or insecure so shut up and don’t whine about it. Better yet, go make some money or at least fix some shit around the house. Then you’ll feel better about yourself.
I know a sweet lady who is genuinely concerned about dying from the virus if she ever were to catch it. She has health problems. So she has stayed home pretty much 100% of the time for 9 months. But she doesn’t condemn anyone, because she understands that she is in charge of keeping herself safe. No one else is responsible for her health. If only all liberals were like her.
Not one commenter here is going to leave his home with a rifle and...do what, exactly?
Go ahead and call me a faggot doomer. I don’t care. Nobody here is going to go shoot anybody. Unless you’re crazy enough to get yourself killed by the cops in 5 seconds.
It’s not confusing at all, and actually just saying “my uncle’s brother” is fine. Maybe some people don’t have an “uncle’s brother” through marriage. Anyway, I’m sorry your family is going through this. Honestly I’m sure my family will too, as most of the elders are choosing to take this vaccine. Be well. I’m sorry for your loss.
