Nice. I'm a 300WM guy, and the longest I can consistently hit a dinner plate at is 1000yds, which is still hard AF with Leupold glass that only goes to 14.5 (I'm not a fan of high magnification scopes -- I need higher contrast for my old eyes). If I was picking one caliber to do it all, I'd probably go with 338, too.
335yds with a 338, that’s darn near point-blank range for that caliber. (No, I’m not denigrating her skills, it still takes skill to hit anything with accuracy at that range, just that caliber packs a LOT of joules at that range)
Explosion was underground. Upward gases and projectile effects from said gases.
Something was blown up big-time in an underground part of the building. The RV thing is definitely a decoy.
Psst... remember a couple weeks ago when there were rumors that specops teams were retooling for bunker-breaching? Might be related.
Texas is a BIG state. Lots of places to own a small ranch/farm and still work in the city.
As for seceding.... there are strong emotions, but I think we have to see how things play out. I imagine that, if it got to that, several other midwest and southern states would join. It's just too early to say.
I’m 100% convinced that Byrne’s story about the infighting (as well as Powell’s claim of being stonewalled) is a smoke screen. I watched the Byrne interview and there were definitely some body language cues showing embellishment. I recommend you watch the interview with him again, this time thinking, "is he just bullshitting?" You’ll be surprised.
Brought back in a lame (and not well-explained) way, eventually tossed in an almost equally-lame way. Frankly, I think it’s a shitty plot point for the heroine to be so in love with a dude that she’s emotional about him 70 years later. Same type of stupid shit they pulled with the whole "Martha" thing in BvS.
Be terrified of RVs now. Yes, yes, let the fear flow through you.
