Does anyone remember this from last summer?

WhiteHouseSiege - by AdBusters

It was advertised in late July 2020, during the height of the violence and destruction across a lot of cities last summer...

We will lay siege to the White House. And we will sustain it for exactly fifty days. This is the #WhiteHouseSiege. ‍A siege only works if it is sustained. We witnessed this — the multiplying power of a strategic occupation — nine years ago. You dig in, hold your ground, and the tension accumulates, amplifies, goes global. ‍Fifty days — September 17th to November 3rd.

Phase One runs from Occupy's ninth anniversary, September 17th, to Election Day — a fifty-day siege on the White House. This is the #WhiteHouseSiege. And, if need be, we will be ready to reconvene at any time after that to ensure the peaceful transition of power.

all you #METOOers, #BLM activists, Extinction Rebels, Sunrisers, and CodePinks out there: it's time for us to start talking to each other and coordinating our actions. Together we can organize pop-up sieges at federal buildings in dozens of cities . . . And we could make sure that activists turn up in Washington, D.C. in ever increasing numbers as the election approaches.

As Sept 17 approached, the weather cooled and the fatigue of the riots were starting to show on the media (time to pump the china virus rhetoric). The election was approaching, debates were being finalized, and all of a sudden #WhiteHouseSiege turned their message...

...to play Jazz...

And with that beautiful noise rising throughout the cities of America, it will be time to move your feet. Bring courage and wits — and your musical chops — to Washington, D.C. There, on September 17th, we commence the #WhiteHouseSiege, a jazz-inspired demonstration of alarm at the desecration of the Union under Trump and his attempts to steal the election. And it’s not only Washington. In front of federal buildings across the nation, pop-up sieges will arise, raising a fist in solidarity with the #WhiteHouseSiege.

Facebook censored the hashtag #WhiteHouseSiege, citing violations of the company’s “community standards.” Facebook’s maddeningly bureaucratic complaints department has yet to get back to us with any clarification on the matter. We’ll let you know if and when that happens.

The last three.. #8 and #9 especially are quite the display of an unhinged mind. All of it is.

I'm not sure what happened. If I could make an educated guess, someone along the lines of a 'Mike Podhorzer'-type communicated down the ranks to need to shift away from the violence narrative (maybe because they knew it wasn't necessary).

Anyway, just wanted to post this because I remembered it. They talk about a siege, but they were the ones with the fucking siege. Another case of total projection from the far-left.
