While I agree that it's unlikely for a runaway convention to ever succeed given the checks put in place, after watching the past 4 years happen I feel like anything could happen. At the end of the day though it might be the best option - if they're going to disregard what's already in place, what would it hurt to add some more and see if it can swing things?
Careful here. If they open up a convention of the states, everything is on the table including 2A. The swamp would likely pull a mass shooting, air the shit out of it and then demand removal of 2A or at least a feature which would do the same. These things are dangerous and shouldn't be pulled lightly.
