Chimera viruses (recombination, not mutation) do occur naturally.

Also, there's not necessarily an "HIV insertion." The part of the sars-2 genome that matches HIV also matches many other viruses. It was a meaningless finding, used to scare people.

What do you plant this early?

Flu deaths are estimated after the fact, because when someone dies of pneumonia or a heart problem or dehydration it may have been flu-related but it's not as common for the hospital to test for flu, so the death will be attributed to 'pnuemonia' or whatever. That is what you will see on the coroner report in most cases.

The White house prediction based on the IHME model was 100-240k.

FWIW I appreciate your voice of reason in every thread.

It doesn't make any fucking sense. what is with this guy giving massive percentage ranges. If we've actually deployed a large number of antibody tests, the White House should let us know the results soon. My guess is that they are testing for generic coronavirus antibodies, not the ones for only cov-2.

Smells fake to me but Laura Ingraham retweeted the story. Hoping I'm wrong.

To make it more suspicious, the article contains a link in the paragraph that mentions Abbott Labs is rolling out antibody tests, but the linked article mentions nothing of the sort

If I'm reading this right, average age of subjects was 43.6 Looks like the 5 subjects who died were age 74+

They say .5% death rate is a big improvement over the other patients in the same hospital.

They're counting differently. Deaths from/with covid-19 are counted as deaths from pneumonia or whatever.

They were hit early on, so I'm sure WHO sent them a ton of tests.

Same. Taking it off and on just wastes my hand sanitizer.

Dumbass. It doesn't benefit me to pointlessly make my community less healthy.

I'm baffled that most Trump supporters here have apparently been driven off by you edgelord "libertarian" types. And you call me a virtue signaller after typing "I'm sure I'll get downvotes" lmao.

"A requirement to wear a mask is fascism" - you're the one larping some anti fascist revolution in your imagination.

Clearly you don't live in a cold climate either.

I wear a mask for my family and community. Plus if I get symptoms I wont be allowed to work. If you have one on hand it seems responsible to wear it when you go out. You could always be presymptomatic or asymptomatic. I don't give people dirty looks, but i think more people could do their part. Scarves, bandanas, masks made from T-shirts all help reduce transmission. maga.

I disagree. It makes me think about doing your part to keep your community safe.

Host of a very popular podcast with a ton of great guests over the years. Notoriously, he lets guests of different political persuasions express themselves.

Are you seriously suggesting people congregate in large groups just to exercise their rights at this time?

That's incredibly dumb.

Clearly the 2003 virus did not spread as effectively as the current one. Its foolish to make a direct comparison of the death rate.

Is it that hard not to touch your face for 20 minutes while you buy groceries?

Edit: I'm working at a restaurant wearing a mask for 8 hours because I don't want to become a vector. I only reach behind my head to adjust the upper strap now and then.

But I see 99% of people at walmart not even bothering with a scarf or bandana that reduce transmission significantly.

This is a misconception. We're never paying the debt. We will pay through inflation eventually or military spending to keep rogue nations on the dollar.

Edit: we are already paying out the nose true inflation but the CPI is cooked to make it look like there is no inflation. Technology and globalization should have made the economy much more efficient but you notice how the price of everything never goes down? How families need two incomes to maintain their standard of living?

They're saying he's ready to sacrifice the fiat dollar's value and issue a new gold-backed dollar.

Of course it's all in their imagination but that's what everyone here has agreed upon apparently.

Next year it will be something else. People love to dream.
