consider a rem 870 in 20 guage. Honestly i cant tell the difference between the 12 and 20 in recoil. but a bolt gun in 30-06 kicks a hell of a lot sharper than any 12 guage except heavy slugs maybe. sometimes women are just better fit with a collapsing or folding stock carbine. i love the mini 14 ranch rifle with the ATI stock. its loud as hell but almost no kick. and u can adjust the stock to tiny legnth of pull or just fold it. and it'll get the job done real well. my favorite carbine.
taurus 605 is what i find myself taking most the time. not sp101. thats mah ruger. 605's are pretty great for quick draw and bang . but u do gotta train on that trigger pull. and if u do.. well shit its my favorite. comfort and speed. but it aint something im gonna grab if the wolverines shit happens. but taurus 605 in 357 i can draw and hit faster than any striker or semi. a get the fuck off gun.
also for CC im a huge fan of the bulldog 44 special. Aint goin more than 850 feet per second. but its big and heavy .. cant put a 44 mag in but u can pretty well stuff it in ur pocket. i see handguns as.. Okay.
