That was fucking dumb. I got the second shot last Friday and spent all of Saturday with a fever, threw up twice. My skin hurt, my whole body ached and when I wasn't sleeping I felt like shit.
Pregnant ladies are at zero risk for Covid, they started mandatory Covid tests for women going into labor in the UK before admitting them to the hospital and found that almost half are Covid positive and 98% had zero symptoms within the last week. Pregnant women have great immune systems, any nurse, tik tok or otherwise should know that the way this vaccine works, you don't want to get it while you're pregnant, it's a recipe for disaster. She killed her baby to virtue signal, disgusting.
Yeah I'm not excited about it. I need the vaccine for my job, I'm required to travel a lot and airlines all looking like they're going to make it mandatory. Some other guys in my organization that travel a lot around Europe have to get swabbed nearly 4 times a week to avoid the travel quarantine rules, 14 days after their second dose they won't have to get swabbed anymore. Luckily I've only been swabbed twice because I can telework so I don't mind the quarantine restrictions.
We actually had a guy who only had symptoms for two days, so he quarantined for 14 days. We have a policy you need two negative tests in a row to return to work. This dude kept popping positive for 45 days, he was in quarantine. I started raising a fuss about "We just going to confine him forever??" So a public health officer reviewed the case and wrote him a memo clearing him to work despite still testing positive. All this shit about asymptomatic spread is bullshit...
Instead of going to the moon and beyond, they're dealing with this..... Something happened, we stopped thinking big....
